Banana Frappuccino

Bananen Frappuccino

You probably have a lot to do today: unload the dishwasher, go to the gym, prepare for the meeting, pick up the kids, call your mother... All the unexciting little things that tend to consume your day unnoticed. You bravely work your way through the list - and remain strangely unsatisfied. In the evening, when calm returns, a quiet voice inside you asks: “Was that it again? Isn’t it more than that?”

Now we're not suggesting that a banana Frappuccino like this can add meaning to your life. But it definitely adds some magic, liveliness and variety! The unusual, creamy mixture of banana, ice cubes and coffee makes you close your eyes, savor every drop on your tongue and sigh quietly mmmhhhh . A moment outside the routine – precious, delicious and caffeinated.

Tip: Do you already know the CUP 500? It has a capacity of 500 ml and can keep its contents both warm and cold. Perfect for coffee blend drinks that require a little more space.

You need this:

  • 1 banana (well ripe)

  • 2 cups milk

  • 2 cups ice (crushed)

  • 4 espressos

  • 1 splash of syrup (for example chocolate, vanilla or caramel syrup, alternatively honey)

  • 1 pinch of cinnamon

  • 1 pinch of vanilla powder or pulp from the vanilla pod

  • 1 cup steamed milk or whipped cream

It's that easy:

  1. Peel the banana and cut it into pieces. Place banana pieces in a blender with milk, espresso, crushed ice, syrup and spices. Mix all ingredients together until creamy.

  2. Fill the Frappuccino into the CUP 500 (to take away) or several glasses. Top with foamed milk or whipped cream.
