Inspired by the Scandinavian design style, the FLSK team has designed a minimalist, purist drinking bottle. FLSK is pronounced "flask" ([flɑːsk]) and is the English word for "bottle".

The really special thing about the FLSK is its insulating performance. It keeps your drink ice cold for 24 hours and nice and hot for 18 hours. So when you leave the house in the morning on a warm summer day, you don't have to worry at all that your drink might get warm and then no longer taste good. The sealing ring of the FLSK has a smooth and a grooved side. Please attach the seal so that the smooth side sits directly on the plastic stopper and the groove is flush with the lid. The grooved side should therefore point towards the inside of the bottle when the FLSK is screwed down.

It is better not to clean the FLSK in the dishwasher. Due to its conical shape, hardly any water gets inside the bottle, and the paint can also be damaged. 

The daily cleaning of the FLSK is nevertheless very simple. Unlike conventional thermos bottles or thermos flasks, it contains no glass inside that could break and is therefore much more robust. The FLSK stainless steel drinking bottle can be conveniently rinsed with boiling hot water and some dishwashing liquid. Regular cleaning is important here, so that substances such as teein or caffeine can not settle in the first place. If something does get deposited, our cleaning beads  or a commercially available denture cleaner from the drugstore will help.

VICC® stands for Vacuum Insulated Copper Coating. The FLSK drinking bottle combines unique design with high functionality. It is made of stainless steel and maintains the temperature through the VICC® technology longer than other thermal bottles. Between the double-walled stainless steel is a vacuum layer, in addition, a copper coating guarantees the preservation of the temperature. The FLSK thermos bottle is also very suitable for children. The small size with 350 ml capacity is very light and small and therefore suitable for children's hands. When preparing baby food, hot boiled water can be filled into the FLSK stainless steel drinking bottle to always be able to prepare baby milk during outings. We have prepared a detailed guide and many tips for you to enjoy your perfect muki moment every time.

The best way to clean your muki snack pot is with lukewarm water, a dishwashing sponge and some detergent. Be careful with color intensive food like berries or similar: You should first rinse the TriZone ThermoGuard with cold water to prevent discoloration. Both sealing rings and the pressure valve can be removed and cleaned individually.

To prevent odors or discoloration from settling, you should clean and dry your muki after each use. We recommend not to put the muki in the dishwasher, otherwise the powder coating could be damaged.

The muki snack pot can be personalized with a laser engraving in the online store. This is especially practical if each family member has his own muki, because so nothing gets mixed up in the kitchen. An engraved muki is also a very special, personal gift.

The seal of the central part is smooth on one side and somewhat stepped on the other. These "steps" should point in the direction of the container. The seal of the upper container has a small tab. This should be placed exactly in the recess provided for it in the lid.

The CUP keeps cold as long as hot. So you can enjoy iced coffee & Co. chilled even on the go.

Our proven VICC® technology keeps the CUP hot inside, but the outside of the stainless steel cup does not heat up.

The fact that you initially feel quite strong resistance here when you squeeze is a good sign that the fliplid is seated correctly and closes your CUP securely.

To close the CUP, press on the inner edge of the fliplid, above the FLSK drop. When you hear it click, your CUP is closed and you can put it in your bag.

No problem. So that you can enjoy your CUP for a long time, even if you lose a seal, you can reorder the right seals at any time.

FLSK, muki and CUP we manufacture in Zhejiang Province/China. Since there is currently no infrastructure for the production of stainless steel products in the EU, we cannot produce our products regionally economically. In concrete terms, this means that the FLSK drinking bottle would otherwise cost over 200 euros. In contrast, production in Zhejiang is highly professionalized. This is particularly evident in the very short production routes. The entire production of FLSK products takes place within a radius of 50 kilometers - from the steel sheet to the final packaging. Comparably short distances are unthinkable in Germany and the EU.

In China, we make sure that production is as fair as possible. We have a long-standing partnership with our producers. Personal exchange is particularly important to us. In addition to regular on-site visits by Quentin (CEO) and Patrick (Product Development), we have a 5-person FLSK team in Zhejiang. In addition, external Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) audits are conducted annually at all of our direct suppliers. This allows us to objectively classify working conditions as "good" for the most part. This means that employees are voluntarily employed on a contractual basis, can participate in elected employee representatives, receive the regional minimum wage or more, and are paid up to 200 % extra for voluntary overtime. In addition, all employees are provided with protective equipment.

Since September 2023, the tube box for our Next Gen products has been made from 100% tree-free material - namely a waste product from sugar production. Overall, the packaging of FLSK, muki and CUP consists of the tube box, a reusable cloth bag and a plastic transport sleeve. This additional packaging material is necessary to protect our products from scratches during transportation. We have only been using FSC MIX material for the conventional tube box since 2021.

FLSK products are transported from China to Germany in the most environmentally friendly way possible. Basically, there are four means of transportation to choose from: Airplane, truck, ship and train. Since water and rail logistics have the lowest environmental impact, we transport half of our products by ship and half by train. For water transport, we work with the GoodShipping Initiative. By refueling with biofuel based on used cooking oil, we reduce CO2 emissions to zero. For rail transport, we will offset emissions through certified climate protection projects from 2020. The FLSK drinking bottle, muki snack pot and CUP coffee to go tumbler are made of type 304 stainless steel, also known as 18/8 stainless steel. This stainless steel is very high quality and is also used for medical instruments or in food processing. It is food safe and therefore counteracts odor absorption and taste residue. 18/8 means that the stainless steel contains 18 % chromium and 8 % nickel. Both are alloying elements that make the stainless steel corrosion and acid resistant. This means that our products are guaranteed rustproof.

The plastic components of our products are polypropylene (PP), polystyrene (EPS) and movable silicone in the sealing rings. These are necessary to ensure the insulating and sealing function in the lid of the FLSK and the TriZone ThermoGuard of the mukis.

The transparent part of the CUP lid and the fliplid are made of Tritan. This material retains its shape even at high temperatures.

All products are BPA-free in their entire material composition, contain no plasticizers and are therefore completely free of harmful substances. This makes them the perfect reusable alternative to plastic products.

FLSK, CUP and muki are designed to give you many years of pleasure. If at some point the last days are numbered, bring your daily companion to the recycling center. Separate FLSK, CUP and muki according to materials. This increases the chance that the majority can be recycled. After all, the stainless steel components in the metal waste can be melted down and used for new products.

We have drawn up a comprehensive carbon footprint. In 2019, our so-called corporate carbon footprint amounts to 916 tons of CO2. This carbon footprint includes not only FLSK and muki, but our complete product range and all business activities - from business travel to the energy consumption of our office. In the medium and long term, we want to reduce our emissions directly. Our biggest lever is the use of recycled steel, which we intend to increase over the next few years. We have already been able to achieve small savings: Our office has been supplied with green electricity since 2020 and shipping is CO2-neutral thanks to the use of biofuel. We will offset all emissions from 2019 that we were unable to avoid. We are currently identifying suitable offsetting projects. Since 2017, we have been donating one percent of our sales. This money is managed in the FLSK Future Fund by the Future Foundation for Development in Bonn. To date, the six-figure sum has been able to actively contribute to advancing sustainable energy supply in Germany. In 2021, we want to use the money to directly support people who are committed to the environment and society. This will turn great ideas into moving projects. Are you looking for your favorite color from the previous range in the Next Gen version? The products from the new Essentials collection replicate timeless classics from our previous range. So if you already own a FLSK in BLCK, for example, the Next Gen CUP in black will match it perfectly. The feel is also very similar to the previous coating.

Yes ¬- the Next Gen coating is dishwasher-safe at low temperatures. If the coating is damaged due to a fall, the bottle is only suitable for cleaning in the dishwasher to a limited extent, as salts, cleaning agents and high temperatures can damage the coating and cause it to peel off. For more stubborn residues, you can use our Reinigungsperlen to fall back on.

Two visible signs that you are holding a Next Gen product in your hands:
1) Bottom engraving: Take a look at the bottom of your FLSK product! There you will find the note "Next Gen" under our FLSK drops if it is a Next Gen product.
2) Packaging: If the packaging of your new favorite FLSK product is made of natural-colored (beige), tree-free sugar cane paper and has a classy silver metal lid, you are definitely holding a Next Gen product in your hands! Are you unsure whether your product is dishwasher-safe? Take a look at the underside of your FLSK product. A few little things have changed there: We have omitted the lot number in the bottom engraving. In addition, you will no longer find the words "handwash only" on the Next Gen, nor the words "The Original.".
