When filling a carbonated beverage , make sure it has enough breathing room—we recommend leaving about two fingers' width of space between the bottle neck and the cap. You should also open it slowly and carefully . You're probably familiar with this from other carbonated beverage bottles.

You can maximize the insulation performance by filling the FLSK drinking bottle with hot water for hot drinks or ice-cold water for chilled drinks for about three minutes before use, or by adding ice cubes.

Please always clean the sealing ring and lid separately and allow them to dry thoroughly to prevent mold growth. Afterward, make sure you replace it the right way round , otherwise it won't close properly. If the sealing ring comes off easily, it's sitting the wrong way round. Please only put the lid on loosely (do not screw it on) when storing it in the cupboard, so it gets enough air to dry.
