Pomegranate Rosemary Fizz

Granatapfel-Rosmarin Fizz

Are you looking for a way to get your relationship back on track? Americans have an answer: date night! This means the finest quality time with your partner, in which you put effort into your appearance, court each other, chat and strengthen your connection in the process. But no one said that it had to stay just chatting!

To heat up the mood a bit, serve this pomegranate rosemary fizz after your meal. It looks impressive, tastes tart and spicy and has a nice side effect: pomegranate and rosemary are plants of lust and love that warm you up and can make you hungry for more... By the way, the pomegranate-rosemary fizz is also ideal for ice cream break first date.

You need this:

  • 50ml water

  • 35g sugar

  • 1 stalk rosemary

  • 40 ml pomegranate juice

  • 4 tbsp lemon juice

  • 80ml gin

  • 200 ml soda or mineral water

  • Crushed ice

  • Optional: 1 tbsp pomegranate seeds

It's that easy:

  1. Heat water in a pot and dissolve sugar in it, let it simmer a little.

  2. Let the rosemary steep in the warm syrup for about 30 minutes, remove the branch and, if necessary, pour the syrup through a sieve.

  3. Mix pomegranate juice, lemon juice, gin, syrup and crushed ice thoroughly in a shaker. Strain into a glass and top up with soda.

  4. Garnish with a few pomegranate seeds.
