Love in every fruit
Did you know that the inventor of Mother's Day later detested it? Anna Jarvis originally intended it to honor the contributions of mothers and peace – entirely without commercial motives. But resourceful merchants quickly saw the potential and profited from the day with flowers, chocolate, and cards. Jarvis fought vehemently against this commercialization – so much so that she was even arrested!
Today we celebrate Mother's Day as it was originally intended – with time together, which is often neglected in everyday family life. And what better way to express your appreciation for Mom than with a colorful, fruity punch to toast? It's easy to prepare, but it does need a few hours in the fridge to fully infuse. Our tip: plan ahead and then conjure it up at the perfect moment.

This is what you need:
-
500g strawberries
-
2 peaches
-
300g frozen berries
-
2 lemons
-
2 bottles of rosé sparkling wine
-
6cl strawberry syrup
-
mint
It's that easy:
-
Wash strawberries and peaches, pat dry, cut into small pieces
-
Wash lemons hot, cut into slices
-
Rinse the mint briefly and add it to the punch glass along with the fruit, mix in the syrup
-
Add a bottle of rosé sparkling wine (for a lighter version, this bottle can also be replaced with a bottle of tonic water)
-
For two to three hours in the refrigerator
-
Just before serving, top up the punch with another bottle of rosé sparkling wine, add some ice cubes and enjoy
