What is nicecream?
Usually ice cream is made of cream and sugar. Not very healthy. Nicecream, on the other hand, is based on frozen bananas + X (anything you fancy). It' the easiest and healthiest ice cream in the world and therefore the best invention of summer. Finally an ice cream where we don't have to hold back!
5 reasons to have banana ice cream for breakfast
- It is absolutely delicious and light.
- The fruity ice cream contains no extra sugar or other unhealthy substances.

- On a hot summer morning this breakfast gives you the wake-up kick.
What you'll need:
- 1 ripe (!) banana
- 2 strawberries
- 2-3 pinches of ground vanilla
- Plant-based milk
- Topping: fruit pieces, seeds or granola to taste
It's that simple:
- prep: At the latest the evening before, peel the banana and cut it into slices. Remove the leaves from the strawberries and cut them in half. Then place the fruits in a bag or tin in the freezer.
- The next morning, let the fruit defrost for 5 minutes before blending it together with the vanilla powder in a high-performance blender. Depending on the consistency, you can add some vegetable milk.
- Top the Nicecream with fresh fruit, muesli, seeds or homemade granola.
Special tips for the perfect nicecream:
- Even if you usually don't like overripe bananas: For a delicious nicecream you should wait until the peel slowly turns brown and the fruit smells intensively. By then the banana has developed enough of its own sweetness.
- To make sure that the cool treat is really creamy, use a powerful mixer.
- Fill the freshly prepared nicecream into your muki. There it melts in slow motion and you have at least three hours to enjoy your breakfast on the go. The topping is placed in the top compartment as usual and is sprinkled on top just before eating. For an even longer cooling time, you can also put the muki into the freezer beforehand, if desired with the nicecream inside.
- With a splash of coconut blossom syrup and some cocoa nibs, the nicecream can be turned into a great dessert in no time.
