We are fans of pure, still water in the FLSK drinking bottle. Yes, really! It is sustainable, it quenches your thirst and is guaranteed to have no harmful additives. And here comes the but: sometimes it is a tiny bit boring. Phew, now it's out.
The Peach Pineapple Drink is completely different: just the incredible color and the fresh, not at all overly sweet taste. Do you have a blender? Then try this super-fruity, non-alcoholic drink that smells of summer love, sun-warmed gardens and warm evenings.
This is what you need (for 1 portion):
-
1 ripe peach, peeled and sliced
-
50 g fresh pineapple pieces
-
125 ml of water
-
1 lime, squeezed
-
2 teaspoons of sugar syrup
-
50 g frozen peach slices
-
Fresh mint
-
1 lime slice for serving
It's that easy:
-
If you don't have any, make sugar syrup: Heat 1 teaspoon of water and 1 teaspoon of sugar in a small cup until the sugar has completely dissolved. Allow to cool.
-
Optional: Freeze some peach slices for decoration.
-
Put the pineapple, peaches and half of the water in a blender and puree until smooth. Pour the mixture through a fine sieve into the glass.
-
Add the remaining water, lime juice and sugar syrup and stir well.
-
Pour the drink over ice, add frozen peach slices and garnish with fresh mint and lime slices.
Tip:
For a more tangy version, you can replace the water with sparkling water.
Extra tip:
The recipe is ideal for multiplying the quantities by four and making a large carafe for all your friends.
