Winter is here, and with it come not only mountains of cookies, but also the question: what do you drink when the Advent calendar has its best doors behind it and the Winter Wonderland playlist is playing for the 27th time? The answer: Rudolph's tipsy spritz! A cocktail that exudes festivity. And is slightly tipsy like Santa Claus after a long night.
Imagine Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer star, putting his hooves up after his shift and really wanting to relax. That's why he created this drink: fruity, sparkling and with just the right kick - perfect to get you in the mood for the holidays. Did you know that Rudolph's red nose actually glows because of his impressive blood circulation? Well, you sipped too much of the spritz. We can only advise you: drink in moderation. 😉
This is what you need:
-
30 ml cranberry juice
-
30 ml orange liqueur, e.g. Cointreau or Grand Marnier
-
120 ml Prosecco
-
30 ml mineral water (optional)
-
A few fresh cranberries and a small sprig of rosemary (for decoration)
-
ice cubes
It's that easy:
-
Fill stylish wine glasses with ice cubes.
-
Mix cranberry juice and orange liqueur in a large measuring cup or carafe and pour over the ice.
-
Add the Prosecco and stir gently so that the carbon dioxide doesn't escape. If you prefer it less strong, you can add a dash of mineral water.
-
Add a few cranberries and a sprig of rosemary to each glass. The rosemary not only provides a great scent, but also looks like a mini Christmas tree.
Tips for even more festivities
-
Without alcohol: Simply replace the orange liqueur with orange juice and swap the prosecco for ginger ale. Just as delicious, without the buzz!
-
Styling tip:
-
Decorate the rims of the glasses with sugar beforehand. Simply dip the rim in lemon juice and roll it in sugar - a wintery extra.
