“At FLSK I learned to trust in myself”

„Bei FLSK habe ich gelernt, in mich selbst zu vertrauen“

If you're looking for the five-person marketing team in the FLSK office, all you have to do is follow the fairy lights. Annika, Ani and Marion's cozy workday living room is located in a beautiful office. Cindy sits opposite in the light-flooded glass house between many plants and Christine has set up her very own FLSK office at home.

With their crazy ideas and marketing campaigns, the five of them ensure that the world knows about the fabulous FLSK products. They are supported actively and wagging their tails by the sweet office dog Sissy.

And because there is still so much to talk about at the end of the working day, the marketing team often moves on in the evening - to a nearby restaurant or to one of their kitchens for an Aperol. A team like this needs to celebrate sometimes!

Ani: From intern to social media manager

Ani has always been passionate about social media. Now she has the perfect job: she gets paid to make funny TikTok videos! The whole of FLSK knows her big grin when she comes around the corner with her cell phone to recruit a “victim” for a new video! But of course Ani's job is about more than just fun content: she plans the budget, keeps an eye on performance and manages collaborations.

Ani came to FLSK from Düsseldorf a year and a half ago - initially as an intern. Back then, there was no one who was completely dedicated to social media. With her master's degree in fashion and luxury management, she was actually predestined for the big fashion labels. But what can we say: Ani turned our heads with her cheerful nature and her outstanding work. That's why we never let her go again. 😊

What do you look forward to most on your way to work in the morning?

I love working here in our cool Munich office. There's a relaxed atmosphere there, I can bring my dog with me and I have all these super funny and nice people around me. I just enjoy being together!

I'm also looking forward to turning on loud music through the Sonos speaker at lunchtime. But there are also days when it's only about one thing: our internal table tennis world championship! I can't wait to play a few rounds of table tennis with the crew again.

Which song best describes your team?

“Why didn’t you say no” by Roland Kaiser and Maite Kelly

What does your typical day-to-day work look like?

I arrive around 9 a.m. – with my little dog Sissy, of course! First she has to greet everyone thoroughly and give them wet dog kisses.

Then I go into the kitchen and fill up my FLSK Stone 750 ml. This means Sissy and I can get through the morning well hydrated. Back in my office, I start the first intensive work phase.

I take a lunch break between 1 and 2 p.m., preferably with colleagues. Sometime after 5 p.m. I grab my dog and we go home. She then looks forward to her well-deserved walk.

What do you like best about FLSK?

I love the start-up atmosphere. I learn new things every day and can continue to expand my interests and professional knowledge. For example, if I want to get a taste of another area, it's very easy with us.

It's pretty great that at FLSK everyone can be who they are and therefore valued. In this respect we are like a small, large family. Every opinion is heard and everyone is important.

What do you value most about your job at FLSK?

Clearly: the flexibility. For example, I can bring my dog to work with me, that's not a given. As a dog mom, this makes me very happy!

And I can decide for myself whether I would prefer to work in the office or from home. This is true luxury! This means I can travel to Düsseldorf to visit my family for a week and work there.

What do you get up for in the morning?

I want to be the best version of myself. It's bad if I stay in bed - even if it's tempting sometimes!

What did you learn about yourself at FLSK?

To trust in myself. I noticed that there are strengths in me that I didn't know about before FLSK! Since I've been working here, I've often outgrown myself both professionally and personally. And that's the best compliment you can give a job, right? 😊
