Doooooong it sounds clearly audible from the sales team's office. Behind the glass that separates the sales office from the rest of the room you can see happy faces. Because when Michi hits the gong, it means: Deal! Another business customer chose branded FLSK products.
And Michi is usually not completely uninvolved in this in his role as Premium Corporate Branding Manager! He provides advice to advertising material dealers and industrial customers, prepares offers and ensures the timely delivery of their favorite refined items.
In 2017, Michi started as a working student at FLSK and somehow never left this crazy bunch again. After a stint in internal sales and 1.5 years as Head of Sales, he has fully settled into his current position and feels completely happy.
Working with friends
What to say about the sales team? Together they are 15.44 meters tall! How they know this will probably always remain the team's best-kept secret. But one thing is obvious: it's not colleagues who work here, but real friends. In the summer in the beer garden, in the winter at the Christmas market - the sales team can't get enough of each other even after work.
No leaf fits between the members of the sales team! Not even the choice of music in the office becomes an issue. Depending on your mood, everything is there, from hits to heavy metal. In fact, music is always playing in the back of the sales room. Perhaps that is also a reason why a large glass wall was subsequently installed to “protect” the other FLSK members? Officially, the decent background noise comes from the many, many work phone calls with mostly happy corporate customers.
Which Harry Potter house would your team be in?
If I were the sorting hat, I would put our sales team in Hufflepuff House. The characteristics of Hufflepuff are loyalty, commitment, friendliness, fairness and helpfulness. Hufflepuff students are also characterized by their willingness to develop and constantly learn. All of this applies to my team!
What do you get up for in the morning?
It might sound like a cliché, but I believe that every day brings a new opportunity. This gives us the opportunity every morning to organize the day according to our wishes and ideas.
Accordingly, I can always decide whether it will be a “good” or a “bad” day. I want to leave my mark on this world - that's why I get up in the morning.
What are you most looking forward to on the way to work?
I look forward most to the first coffee of the day, which I always drink in the office. And the people I will meet in the office. There are simply great people in my team! In the best case scenario, these can be combined and you start the day together with a cup and chat about everything.
What was your greatest childhood wish?
I've been playing football since I was five years old. Accordingly, my greatest wish was to become a professional soccer player! More specifically, I wanted to become a professional at 1860 Munich (Munich is blue!). As a child, I often went to the stadium with my dad and was fascinated by this club from the start.
What superpower would you like to have?
I would like to be able to fly. With this superpower, I can travel wherever I want to be at any time and without much effort.
Flying feels like freedom to me: breakfast on a peak, lunch from Marzia at FLSK, dinner at the pizzeria in Italy.
